Chicken karahi is also known as kadai chicken It is the most popular dish of south asian people
Specially in Pakistan and India it,s name after cooking  untensill karahi or kadai which is a deep ,thick-bottom  wok plan

Here is simple" chicken karahi recipe"


Ingredients 

1 kg chicken cut it into pieces

2 large onion finally slice

3 medium tomatos chopped

2-3 green chilies ,sliced

1/2 cup yogurt

3 table spoons garlic-ginger paste

1/4 cup cooking oil

1 teaspoon cumin seeds

1 teaspoon coriander powder

1 tea spoon red chili powder

1 tea spoon garam masala

salt to taste

How To Make Chicken karahi Recipe

1 Heat oil in a karahi or a deep, heavy-bottomed pan over medium warmness. Add cumin seeds and allow them to splutter.


2 Add finely sliced onions and sauté until they end up golden brown.


3 Add ginger-garlic paste and cook for 1-2 minutes till the raw odor disappears.


4 Add chopped tomatoes and cook dinner till they turn out to be tender and the oil starts to split from the masala.


5 Add chicken portions to the masala and prepare dinner till the chook modifications colour.


6 In a bowl, whisk yogurt and upload it to the fowl. Mix well and prepare dinner for 5-7 mins until the yogurt is nicely included.


7 Add coriander powder, pink chili powder, turmeric powder, and salt. Mix the whole lot properly and cook for every other five-7 mins.


8 Add sliced green chilies and dried fenugreek leaves (kasuri methi). Mix nicely.


9 Cover the pan and simmer on low warmth until the fowl is cooked via. Stir now and again to avoid sticking to the lowest.


10 Once the fowl is cooked, sprinkle garam masala and garnish with clean coriander leaves.


Serve warm with naan or rice.
